students and well-qualified faculty members. The
B.Tech ECE program is accredited by NBA. The
research scholars in the department actively work in
diverse emerging areas like VLSI, Digital Image
Processing, Networking, IoT, Communication Networks,
Quantum Computing,. The department is equipped with
the state-of-the-art technology lab that includes a
Centre of Excellence in IoT.
The department has always been proactive in
organizing a variety of events that includes
national and international conferences, workshops,
FDPs and seminars. The department receives funds
from government bodies for the conduction of
seminars, STTPs and the like. A Funded Project on
Antenna Design sanctioned by CABS-DRDO is in
progress.
The students of the department hone their knowledge
and technical expertise through successful
participation in NPTEL courses. Through the spur
motivation by the faculty members, students have
participated and played a part in copious
international competitions, forums and stages. The
department has international collaborations with
Asia University in Taiwan, Sheffield Hallam
University in UK, Taipei Medical University in
Taipei, Huaiyun Institute of Technology in China and
Universiti Teknologi Petronas in Malaysia wherein
the students underwent short-term projects in IoT,
AI, ML and Embedded domains. The department has MoUs
with BSNL, NITTTR, IITPALS, IGL by which the
students are provided with skill based industrial
training.
The department boasts a good number of publications
in international journals and conferences with an
appreciable H-index. The faculty members have
authored books in various disciplines and also filed
many patents.
